Doing anything important well takes up our attention and the resulting good feeling we call a sense of flow. Fully resting equally results in special even transcendental flow experience we also call mindfulness, and when of briefer duration just know as calmness.

An important working rule follows for calm - our everyday word for the default way we need to be  – calm is no less than being able to pause and know you are fully at rest.
